Product Overview

The Container Cable Seal is a tamper-evident, single use, heavy-duty locking device, with a self locking steel cable construction. Flexible closures are the most common container seals in the world shipping industry and are incredibly durable and weather resistant even in the most extreme weather conditions.

They are designed to guard containers, trailers, tankers, warehouse doors and other high-value assets and provide a level of high-security protection equal to bolt seals and can only be opened with industrial bolt cutters.

FAQ

Q: Can the Container Cable Seal be reused after removal?

A: No. This is a strictly single-use, tamper-evident device. The locking mechanism and steel cable are permanently destroyed during removal to ensure security integrity.

Q: How do you verify a cable seal during shipping?

A: Logistics personnel must audit and cross-reference the unique seal number recorded at dispatch against the physical seal number inspected at the final destination.

Q: What should be considered when choosing a cable seal length?

A: Cable length selection depends on your specific application's locking span, door handle configuration, and the operational clearance required for installation.

Q: How are seal numbers managed in logistics operations?

A: Every unique seal number is logged upon issuance, tracked throughout transit, and verified at receiving to maintain a seamless, untampered chain of custody.

Q: What happens if a seal is broken or compromised during transit?

A: Any broken or compromised seal signals a potential cargo breach. You must immediately freeze the shipment, document the condition, photograph the damage, and initiate a formal security investigation.
