Disposable Adjustable Cable Seals

In modern supply chains, losses are rarely caused by forced entry.More often, goods are accessed during transit, inspection or temporary storage and then resealed before arriving at their destination.

Disposable Adjustable Cable Seals are designed to make unauthorized access immediately visible.
Once the cable is inserted and tightened, the seal becomes permanently locked and can only be removed by cutting the cable. Any opening event leaves irreversible evidence that can be verified during handover, customs inspection or final delivery.
This simple principle makes cable seals one of the most widely used security devices for transport, utilities, fuel distribution and asset management.

The security performance of a cable seal depends primarily on its locking mechanism.
Inside the seal body, hardened metal locking components grip the cable in one direction only.
Once engaged, the cable can continue tightening but cannot move backward.
This prevents the seal from being opened and reused after access has occurred.
For transport operators and distributors, this provides a simple and reliable chain-of-custody record without requiring keys or additional equipment.

Not all cable constructions provide the same level of tamper indication.
Our seals use non-preformed galvanized steel cable.
When the cable is cut, the individual strands immediately separate and flare outward rather than remaining tightly bundled together.
Because of this, the cut cable cannot realistically be inserted back into the locking chamber to imitate an intact seal.
This characteristic allows inspectors to identify interference quickly without specialist training or inspection tools.

For many users, the serial number is more important than the seal itself.
Seal numbers are recorded during dispatch and verified again during receipt.
Any mismatch immediately indicates where an investigation should begin.

Insert the free cable end into the seal body.

Pull the cable until the desired loop size is reached.
